Murphy Reinstated as Head Coach of Boys Swim Program

Carroll ISD announced today the reinstatement of Coach Kevin Murphy as Head Coach of the Boys Swim Program. Coach Murphy, who was reassigned from coaching duties earlier this year, will return to lead the boys team following a mutual agreement with CISD Athletics.

Traditionally, the head swim coach oversees both boys and girls teams. Under the new arrangement, Coach Justin Pudwill will assume the role of Head Coach for the Girls Swim Program. Coach Pudwill will continue to serve as CISD’s Aquatics Supervisor and is the Head Coach of the Dragon Water Polo teams. A former NCAA swimmer, he brings extensive experience and a strong competitive background to the program.

“We’re excited about the future of our swim program,” said Athletic Director Riley Dodge. “Having both Coach Murphy and Coach Pudwill in leadership positions allows us to provide the best possible support for our student-athletes. Their combined expertise and passion for the sport will elevate our program even further.”
