Financial Challenges

Like many school districts across Texas, Carroll ISD faces significant financial pressures. State funding has not kept pace with rising costs, and a large portion of locally collected tax revenue is recaptured by the state each year. At the same time, enrollment declines and aging facilities add to our operational challenges.
Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to maintaining strong academic, fine arts, and athletic programs—while continuing to provide safe, supportive learning environments for all students.

Generous Community and Local Businesses

Our community has always been one of Carroll ISD’s greatest strengths. Parents, alumni, partner organizations, and local businesses consistently step forward to support our schools. Their generosity helps bridge resource gaps and ensures that teachers and students have what they need to excel.
